  1. Yes, I do think that people need language native teachers to help them attain the target language proficiency especially of speaking. Non-native language speaking teachers may teach the grammar and the writing well for the basic rules of the language may not change a lot. But the way people speak and how they use the vocabulary may vary from time to time. Without native language speakers, people who speak target language will naturally merge their mother-tongue languages and form sublanguages like Creole spoken by people in the areas of Haiti and New Orleans. Eventually, they would miss their target.

  2. From my point of view, native language teachers are really important for the student who want to improve their language skill. Because native speakers have used their language to communicate all of their life, they may understand their language more clearly than non-native speakers do. Therefore, I believe that to study with native speaker teachers you can take more advantageous than study with non-native speakers.

  3. I think that native language teacher is very important for other national students because native language teacher has their characteristics for example, their pronunciation, intonation, idiom, grammars, and etc. Also if i communicate with native teacher, i have to use their native language so i can improve my language skill. Therefore, native language teachers are necessary.

  4. My opinion is that native teachers are needed for people to learn a foreign language, but I do not think whoever native speakers are. Can you teach your language perfectly with complete confidence? To teach non-native people a language suitably is difficult because of including various problems, for example, how to explain subtle nuances lauguage has and how to answer exactly the question learners have. I basically agree with the idea that people need native teachers to attain proficiency in a target language, but I think we should not forget such a problem.

  6. Yes, I agree that people need a native teachers to teach their own language. Because native speakers have the correct pronunciation, and the correct grammar. For example, I have been studying English as a second language in my country with non native speaker. The problime is that their pronunciation is very bad to teach. Therefore, durring the summer I apply for English classes out side my country, to learn a with a native teacher. Finally, native teachers are very important to learn for them the correct language.

  7. I agree, but I have one thing that we must regard. A native teacher might not know what kind of problem such as grammar, speaking, and writing the students have. Even if they know it, they can’t explain perfectly because we have different grammar and speaking way. Sometimes, I just guess meaning of the sentences, and I am still confused about verb tense. If we need a native teacher to learn a target language, they should know what their students want.

  8. I think the answer is yes because unlike non native language teachers, native language teachers have more experience about their mother language, and international students are studying abroad to learn the language to the fullest. For example, I have been studying the English since I was child, but I didn't feel by improvement until I came to the U.S. Not only me who agree about this issue but also my classmates; consequently, international students need native language teachers in order to be proficient in the language.

  9. Native teachers are necessarly to become a skillful language for nonnative speakers. Because it is difficult to pronounce for nonnative speakers to pronounce the target language similar to the language which native speakers speak. In my experience, when i had the questions about the pronunciation, i asked native teacher. She tought me the clearly pronunciation. That's why it is important to teach nonnative speakers the target language by native teachers.

  10. yes!!In my opinion, if there are no native language teacher, they won't get skills like a native speakers. For example, writing, pronunciation and fuluency. In addition, if you speak with native people, you can easy to know which level you are in. Also, you can learn about how to expression for someone when you have to speak other language. Therefore, I think native speaker is very impotant thing.

  11. Native language teachers are necessary becuase they have not only the skills like a grammar in the text but also the skills that they use in daily lives. When you speak with native speakers, you may not understand what they say sometimes without learning conversation style. So,I think native language teachers are important to become proficient.

  12. I think that people need native teachers to attain proficiency in a target language due to the fact that non-native speakers cannot improve their listening skill and speaking skill. For example, Japanese English teachers teach English to students;however, their English are not perfect English that is clear and fluent pronunciation. Also, there are native English teachers in Japan, but that is not enough teachers to teach English. I think that the Japanese government should accept not only native english speakers but also other native speakers such as Spanish,Italian, and French.

  13. In my view, native speaker is very important for language learners, because we can learn natural pronounciation, rythm and speed from them. In Japan, we have learned English more than 6 years in the school, however, most of Jaoanese people are not good at speaking English. We don't have chance to listen and speak natural English in our life, so it is important time for students to communicate with native speakers. I think the Japanese government should improve the system of English education more effectivily for Japanese people and native speakers from other countries.

  14. No, i do not agree with that statement.
I believe that native language teacher would help students a lot in listening and speaking, but it is not the most important thing to study language. The point to reach the goal is self discipline in each student.

  15. From my opinion I agree with ePupil, that people need native teachers.
because non-native teachers could teach them the writing and grammar, but he may not teach them speaking very well. Because he might have an accent. but from my experience I have been Teached under non-native teachers and I say that it`s not bad but the best thing is to have a native teachers. There is no way to compare between native teachers and non-native teachers.

  16. Yeah native teachers are very important beceause they know everything about their native language as what JK said. However, non-native teachers may know most of thing like grammar and writing but not as native know. Anyway, native teachers can help you with speacking more than non-natives do because non-natives have different accent than natives do. Therefore, learning from native teachers is more helpful.

  17. Definitely yes. I'm sure that if high schools and colleges had a native speaker teachers the students would be for progressive in learning languages. But unfortunately not every college or high school can afford to hire a native speaker teacher. and not every teacher would agree to work far away from his/her family and home country. That's why the government of some countries came up with exchange between teacher and professors to be get more experience which could help to teach more efficiently in their own country.
